Proposed new Socilaite Icon details | Ember
I am not saying my original EventBox icon is perfect, it sure need some tweaking to it (as when EventBox being brought by Realmac Software, it is still a beta app), but I think the metaphor fit what EventBox (function and name) needs, although it is a little busy.
The new cocktail icon, the metaphor is good, and as speaking as an art alone, it is pretty beautiful. Just it is too much for a dock icon (the detail go messy when sitting on dock) and wrong perspective in the straw. A few tweaking to make that cocktail simpler may turn out a perfect one.
The new purposed one, the shape is kinda weird, and looks like it take some elements from the original eventbox icon, trying to form a bird flying in the cloud. Hmmm, not represent the app name well, it can be used for one of the twitter client, but not right for that kind of all-in-one app. Besides, it didn’t match the rest app icon of realmac software’s apps.
